Bridge to BCG is a three day summer workshop designed to help you test-drive the BCG case team experience.
What will participation at Bridge to BCG entail?
Our 2019 Bridge schedule and host cities are:
If invited to Bridge to BCG, you can expect to attend the workshop closest to your school, but due to capacity constraints and conflicts it is possible that you'll be placed in another program. You will be asked to mark all sessions you can attend in the Bridge application.
Bridge to BCG is open to PhD, JD, MD (including MD/MBA), and postdoc students currently residing in the US or Canada and looking to start full-time with BCG in 2020. Please note, if you cannot start with BCG until after June 2019, we encourage you to apply to Bridge.
If you are currently a practicing MD or in residency, the 2020 start date requirement does not apply. Please note, that practicing MDs with more than 5 years of experience are not eligible for Bridge. These candidates as well as JDs and PhDs who’ve already graduated from their program should refer to our experienced professional hiring process.
Masters students (without a JD, PhD, or MD) and MBA students are not eligible to attend. We would be happy to receive your full-time or internship job application in the fall as part of our campus process.

No. You can plan to attend the Bridge to BCG program closest to your campus or home, but you are not required to apply to the host office for full-time work. Candidates who attend Bridge are interested in many different BCG offices. When submitting your Bridge application you will be asked to select your office preferences for full-time work.
Absolutely! Since this is a nationwide program with limited spots, we have to take several factors into consideration when determining our invite list. If you are not invited to Bridge, we still encourage you to reapply in July 2019 for a full-time position. Your Bridge application will not hinder your chances of getting an invite to interview for full-time work.
Yes, but it is not a case interview! Our selection for Bridge to BCG is based upon resume screening, a short essay, and a video interview. At BCG, we're interested in getting to know you beyond your resume and hope to understand why you're interested in a consulting career.
BCG looks for ADC candidates who have illustrated a history of achievement and leadership inside and outside the classroom, are stellar communicators, and are passionate about problem solving. Candidates should not only highlight their academic qualifications but also the ways in which they've begun to look beyond academia for experience.
