Pilar Pedrinelli is an expert consultant in food systems and nature-based solutions at Boston Consulting Group and a core member of the Climate & Sustainability and Social Impact practices at the firm.

Pilar is an expert in food systems, nature-based solutions, climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience. She brings extensive strategic and field experience in private, NGO, and multistakeholder social impact partnerships, working across Africa, North America, the EU, and the UK. Pilar’s work has focused on sustainable strategies, policy and advocacy, and market-based incentives across various value chains, mainly on export-oriented cash crops such as tea, vanilla, coffee, and cocoa.

Prior to joining BCG, Pilar worked in academia, the private sector, and international organizations with a specific focus on regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, land conservation, and livelihood resilience.
