Andrew Newsome is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Industrial Goods and Public Sector practices and the topic lead for Infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand. He is also part of BCG’s global leadership team for infrastructure. He was a BCG Ambassador in 2013, based in Helsinki, and has worked throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Andrew works primarily with transportation and construction clients, focusing on strategy, asset commercialization, capital efficiency, and major transformations. In addition, he has worked for clients in the energy, mining, defense, and telecommunications sectors, drawing on expertise in large capex management, procurement, supply chain, and productivity improvement.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew worked as an Aerospace Engineer at Boeing and Tenix Defence (now BAE Systems).
