David Pérez joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2005 and is a core member of the Health Care and Corporate Development practices. He is experienced in a broad range of topics including strategy, organizational efficiency and design, operational improvement, and commercial and private equity.

He has acquired deep expertise from case work in medtech, biopharma, pharmacy retail, omega-3 supplements and pharmaceuticals (strategy formulation and assessing growth potential), and health care in general.

David is a global expert in the field of aquaculture, and he has worked on projects assisting fish farmers and manufacturers of fish feed, fish vaccines, and equipment. He has also worked extensively in animal health and nutrition including work with vaccines, additives, and feed.

For BCG's Health Care practice, David has worked on ops projects including manufacturing network redesign, sourcing and lean; driving commercial excellence programs; designing and implementing a multicountry regional marketing structure for a global pharma company; several projects involving cost reduction, operational efficiency, and off-shoring; projects supporting European and Nordic health care providers in developing corporate growth strategies; and developing an after-market strategy and operating model for a global medical technology company.

For the Private Equity and Corporate Development practices, David has worked on a large number of commercial due diligence projects, 100-day programs, midterm audits of portfolio companies, and vendor due-diligence projects.
