Douglas Woods leads Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care practice in South America. He is also a core member of the Consumer and Strategy practices.

Douglas joined BCG in 1998 and has worked on many cases across a range of topics, including business and portfolio strategy, growth, commercial excellence, corporate sustainability, M&A, and postmerger integration.

While Douglas has spent the majority of his career with BCG in Brazil, he has also spent significant time working in the US and Australia. He began his career as a manufacturing engineer at 3M and worked for two years at Pfizer Brazil, where he was responsible for strategic planning and market intelligence.
