Koen Alfrink worked in the Amsterdam, London, and Perth offices of Boston Consulting Group before transferring permanently to Melbourne in 2015. He is a core member of the Financial Institutions, Corporate Finance & Strategy, and People & Organization practices. Koen works with leading financial institutions on large-scale digital/agile transformations, and strategy, and has deep experience in post-merger integrations and business unit carve-outs.

Most recently, Koen has worked on engagements including large-scale (cost) transformation and TURN for universal banks, agile transformations for financial institutions and insurance companies (including pioneering agile principles in support functions across industries), and corporate strategy development for leading banks and asset and wealth managers.

Koen holds a Product Owner Certification (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, the world's leading organization for certification in the Agile community. Before joining BCG, he spent two years skippering commercial sailing yachts—which continues to be one of his big passions.
