Tomáš Wiedermann leads Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). He specializes in growth strategy, large-scale company transformation, transactions, and post-merger integrations. His clients are among the largest and most ambitious companies in CEE – both digital natives as well as traditional players.

Tomáš has worked with telecommunications, media, and technology clients on growth strategies and transformations. He has also worked extensively in the e-commerce space, supporting regional CEE e-commerce champions in their efforts to scale up. Among other things, he advises clients on the impact of digitization as seen in advances such as autonomous vehicles and robotics, on traditional businesses. He has also supported clients on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and climate topics.

Before joining BCG in 2006, Tomáš worked in the management consulting department of Deloitte and was a professional volleyball player for five years.
