Konrad von Szczepanski leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Industrial Goods practice in the UK, the Netherlands, and Belgium. He is a core member of the Global Advantage practice and of BCG’s Center for Digital in Industrials. He is the global Joint Ventures and Alliances topic leader.

Since joining the firm in 1992 (he left BCG in 2002 and returned in 2013), Konrad has brought his experience in commercial excellence and strategy to clients in the global metals and mining sector. His passion for the sector is bred from over 18 years’ experience in the industry, during which he has consulted with and worked for many of the world's leading companies on six continents. Konrad’s practical experience in setting up, restructuring, and dissolving JVs informs his work with a wide range of clients, in both established and emerging markets, looking to strengthen their advantages with strong partnerships.

Before rejoining BCG, Konrad was Vice President of Strategy and Development, Aluminium, with BHP Billiton.
