Reuters writes an article on diversity and inclusion programs in Britain and how they affect lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender workers. It references a BCG report that studied 16,500 people, 10% of whom are part of the LGBTQ+ community. The report found, “fifty percent of [those] surveyed said their employer had failed to improve existing diversity and inclusion policies over the past one to three years.” BCG’s Elliot Vaughn comments that LGBTQ+ employees are not seeing any personal benefits even though “98% of firms offer diversity and inclusion programs.”
