They assert that closing the gender gap in entrepreneurship can fuel growth of women-owned enterprises and unleash new ideas, services, and products. Citing a BCG article, Unnikrishnan and Hanna point out that if women and men participated equally as entrepreneurs, the global economy could rise by as much as $5 trillion.
