In his guest column for Forbes, BCG’s Grant Freeland writes about one of the biggest challenges that most companies are facing today: staffing open jobs. How can this be addressed without spending a large amount of money on recruiting and training new people? Freeland suggests hiring former employees and workforce returnees. He cites a Two Groups You Can’t Ignore (but Probably Do) in the War for Talent, which indicates that these are two highly valuable, yet often overlooked, groups that represent a large and growing resource for future hiring.
