Work and Culture

History and the Area

In 2012, the Bogotá office opened its doors, representing one of BCG latest addition to the South America region and becoming a rapid success story. Our office is located in a residential neighborhood, a five-minute walk to the best restaurants, bars, and shopping centers.

Who We Work With

Our Bogotá office serves both Colombian and foreign multinational companies. Our consultants work on projects ranging from corporate development to strategy in industries such as consumer goods, energy, financial services, and technology and communications.

Social Impact and Volunteer Work

As in all BCG offices, our office is committed to the sustainable development of society and the planet we live on. For this reason, our Bogotá social impact team helps us to participate in actions that can make a difference. In one project, we took part in the construction of children’s shelters. In addition, our employees are active members of NGO boards, such as Save the Children.

Our Office Culture

Our office spirit is defined by its familiar and dynamic culture. We believe in teaming, open communication, professional challenges, and personal development. Every BCG member actively participates by supporting one another, sharing new ideas, and taking part in office activities.

BCG in Bogotá also organizes a wide range of events to give all employees opportunities to know each other better in a relaxing atmosphere. These range from casual Friday drinks to corporate events, including sports and social impact clubs, inspirational conferences, training days, and team weekends.

The best part of working at BCG is that you are able to plan, evaluate, and implement the solution to extremely complex issues while being supported by an outstanding team full of smart, motivated, and fun colleagues.
