Andrej Timofeev leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Industrial Goods practice in the Commonwealth of Independent States and is managing director in the Moscow office. For the past several years, he has focused on transportation, logistics, and infrastructure.
Since joining BCG in 2010, Andrej has helped clients in Russia, the US, and Europe with their corporate and business unit strategy, company turnaround, operational efficiency, and restructuring. Throughout his career, Andrej has led major projects for several state-owned corporations on issues related to business growth, globalization, privatization, and efficiency improvement.
Andrej is a member of the Russian president's Economic Advisory Council as an expert in the working group on development of infrastructure projects in transportation. He advises top-level politicians on key transportation topics in Russia, such as privatization, liberalization, sector strategies, market structure, and regulation of tariffs.
Before joining BCG, Andrej worked for A.T. Kearney in the US, Germany, and Russia.
