Aparna Bijapurkar's work at The Boston Consulting Group spans across the Public Sector, Consumer, and Retail practices. Prior to joining BCG, Aparna worked as a public policy economist specializing in the design and optimization of social welfare programs. In her current role as ambassador at the BCG Henderson Institute, Aparna is working on the future of globalization and what this means for business strategy as well as government policy making.

At BCG, Aparna has worked with the Indian central and state governments on the transformation of large-scale public service delivery systems, such as the TPDS (Targeted Public Distribution System), which serves more than 800 million individuals. She has also worked with leading global consumer and retail companies to develop their front-end sales and marketing strategies, including brand placement, new-product launches, channel management, and advertising and marketing spending optimization.
