Ching Fong Ong is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Technology Advantage; Technology, Media & Telecommunications; and Financial Institutions practices. He joined the firm in 2000 and has worked extensively for BCG clients in the Southeast Asia region on diverse topics.
CF’s recent client work includes leading the development of go-to-market and channel strategy design for a telecommunications company; leveraging big data; developing IT strategies for various telecommunications companies and banks; and leading operations and IT lean transformations for banks.
CF is part of the global Technology Advantage leadership team and is a coleader of the BCG Leadership & Talent Enablement Center. CF has also led the establishment of BCG's Digital & Technology Enablement Center, which aims to help clients transform into digital enterprises.
In 2004, CF was seconded to BCG’s Amsterdam office for a year-and-a-half as part of the Global Ambassadorship Program.
Before joining BCG, CF worked at both Accenture and Arthur Andersen in Kuala Lumpur.
