Kar Min Lim joined Boston Consulting Group in 2016. She is a core member of the Climate & Sustainability, Energy, and Social Impact practices at the firm, and has worked with a wide range of energy, industrial, and public sector clients in Southeast Asia, North America, and Australia.

Kar Min has considerable experience in climate change and energy transition topics including national decarbonization pathways, net-zero strategies, energy modeling, and green technologies such as renewables, green hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage. She works closely with clients on the impact of decarbonization across the power value chain (generation, transmission and distribution, retail), as well as the role of key enablers such as climate policy, green financing, and sustainability operating model. She also has expertise in issues relating to energy and society, including addressing the energy trilemma (affordability, security, decarbonization) in emerging markets and how to drive a just transition.
