Michael Steiger is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice and a member of BCG's center for Telco Networks, for which he leads digital network transformations. Michael has more than 14 years of combined industry and consulting experience within TMT and serves clients globally.

Michael works with clients to plan and build cost-efficient and future-proof next-generation networks (such as x-ran, fiber push, cloudification, real estate/infrastructure footprint optimization, site and rollout standardization, and OpCo/NetCo splits) and to run today's networks more efficiently through network automation, use cases and analytics, and smart energy reduction, etc.

Prior to rejoining BCG in 2020, Michael was Head of Corporate Strategy at Swisscom.
