Ilshat Kharisov is a core member of the Energy, Strategy, and Global Advantage practices at Boston Consulting Group. He joined the BCG Moscow office in 2012 and transferred to Houston in 2014.

Ilshat has partnered with oil and gas companies to implement major business changes across operations, including organization transformation, strategy, and new business development. His recent oil downstream sector experience includes implementing a commercial and trading business model, establishing a wholesale and retail fuels strategy and pricing, and the strategic assessment of downstream value pools, opportunities, and threats.

Ilshat also led a feasibility assessment of a world-scale chemical plant investment and an operations improvement program (non-energy OPEX) for a major US refinery, creating savings of over $100 million per year.

Prior to joining BCG, Ilshat worked at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.
