Jon Ferris is the chief financial officer for BCG X, Boston Consulting Group’s tech build and design unit. He also leads the firm’s finance function for other global specialty businesses and global practices, as well as BCG’s Global Services headquarters in Boston.

Jon has led the transaction activity—over a dozen opportunities across the spectrum of acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic partnerships—and can speak to the learnings and keys to success among each type of model that BCG employs. He played a key role in the acquisition of Quantis, to further BCG's climate change and sustainability capability. Jon previously led financial planning and analysis for the firm globally. Over the last decade, he has played a lead role developing BCG's business model architecture that supports the expanding capabilities that BCG brings to clients. 

Jon joined BCG as a consultant in the Chicago office in 2003. His client work focused on transactional support and strategic diligence for private equity and consumer goods clients. He also was a founding member of the public education practice in the U.S.
