Luigi Chiolini is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group's Energy practice and a global expert in the energy engineering and services sector. He joined BCG in 2011 as a consultant.

Luigi's main focus is oil field services and equipment, including client projects related to engineering, procurement, and contracting. He has worked on strategy, organization, and operational improvement projects across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

Luigi has more than a decade of experience driving complex strategic-transformation programs in the energy and industrial goods sectors, and he is an expert in operational excellence, organization, and innovation. Luigi was instrumental in developing the "BCG EPC simulation game," a tool to build project management capabilities with an emphasis on learning by doing.

Before he joined BCG, Luigi worked for five years as an R&D and project engineer for Saipem in Italy and Central Asia, and for another strategy consulting firm.
