Dan Kahn joined Boston Consulting Group in 2016. Since March 2020, he has led BCG’s Global COVID Response Center Team. In this capacity he has worked with dozens of BCG and client teams around the world synthesizing and strengthening best practices to develop strategies in the fight against COVID-19. The insights developed by the team have been used in more than 750 cases. He regularly meets with business and education executives to advise on the latest COVID-19 trends, scenarios, and potential implications for their organizations. Dan also led two COVID response cases for large US metropolitan areas.

In addition to being a leader in BCG’s COVID response, Dan has led public and private sector engagements including strategic planning development for education nonprofits, large K-12 school systems, and industrial manufacturers; due diligence for a Fortune 50 company; and the marketing and communications transformation of a large public university.

Prior to joining BCG, Dan worked in the education and the non-profit sectors in Baton Rouge, LA. He taught middle and high school social studies through Teach for America before founding and directing the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition (BRYC), an afterschool college readiness non-profit that helps first generation students successfully enter and thrive in college and beyond.
