Govinda Avasarala joined Boston Consulting Group in July 2015. He is a core member of the firm’s Energy, Corporate Finance & Strategy, and Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practices, supporting clients in the oil and gas, power and utilities, and renewables and green energy industries. In addition, he has worked with consumer goods, health care, and public sector clients. He has worked on projects in Australia, Canada, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia.

In his time at BCG, Govinda has led due diligences and market landscape/strategy projects across the clean energy, renewables, battery storage, and energy service sectors for PIPE clients. He develops investment strategies for infrastructure funds and sovereign wealth funds, and led the post-merger integration and transformation for an international IOC, as well as leading operations and organization transformations for the Nigerian and Australian business units of an international IOC.

Prior to joining BCG, Govinda was a Senior Associate with BP-Commercial Performance Improvement (CPI), BP's internal consulting arm, and a Senior Research Assistant at the Brookings Institution's Energy Security Initiative.
