Pratik Shah joined Boston Consulting Group in 2016. He is a core member of the firm’s Financial Institutions and Principal Investors & Private Equity (“PIPE”) practices, and global leader for the firm's work in investment fund strategy and operating model.

Pratik works with large scale financial institutions, private equity funds, and principal investors from around the world on their most complex challenges, including the design of corporate growth, investment and transformation strategies, the development of product and market expansion plans (including M&A), and the restructuring of internal firmwide operating models.

Pratik’s current priorities are driving growth in new government-backed investment funds and infrastructure banks in emerging markets, as well as leading end-to-end reinvention and transformation programs for financial institutions more generally. In addition, he is working closely with the C-suite of established global principal investors on the development of advanced data and analytics capabilities to drive sustainable competitive advantage.

Prior to joining the firm, Pratik was a senior investment professional at a $10 billion diversified holding group in the UAE, and an analyst and associate in investment banking (M&A) at a US bulge-bracket investment bank in London and Hong Kong.
