Alex Bostrom is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice. He focuses on all aspects of the media landscape, including TV, radio, traditional and digital publishing, and social media. He has specialized knowledge in both ad sales and retail media, and coleads a BCG team exploring the potentials of the metaverse. Alex spent a year on secondment at YouTube, working on creator engagement strategy.
In his recent client work, Alex defined the growth strategy for a media and educational non-profit organization, developed a five-year strategy for a global social media platform, built a retail media strategy for a multinational retail organization, and developed strategic organizational restructure of a non-profit US radio station.
In addition, he has worked with publishers, broadcasters, and other media companies on a variety of organizational and growth strategies.
