Aslı Kurbay is a principal in the Istanbul office. She co-leads the Consumer practice in Turkey and the Global Advantage practice in the Italy-Greece-Turkey system. She is also a member of the firm's Center for Consumer Insight working group, specializing in understanding consumer behaviors and trends shaping industries and economies.
Since joining the firm in 2011, Aslı has worked on several projects for FMCG players and retailers. She has extensive experience in corporate-strategy development with a focus on internationalization, strategic planning, and target setting; organization design; incentive model design; and transformation projects also with implementation support. During her time at BCG, she has done projects for several apparel retailers, including strategy, sourcing, category expansion, footprint optimization, store operations, and digital performance uplift projects.
Prior to joining BCG, Aslı worked for Unicorn Capital, Fiba Capital, and McKinsey, serving Turkey, the Middle East, and Russia.
