Benjamin Dietz is a managing director and partner at BCG X, Boston Consulting Group's tech build and design unit. He advises principal investors, private equity funds, and leading companies across the Middle East on AI-enabled value creation. His work focuses on helping investors and management teams unlock business value through enterprise AI, from bare metal GPU infrastructure and frontier open weight models to production-scale GenAI and agentic AI solutions.
Benjamin's expertise spans the full AI value chain, including enterprise AI platforms, AI Centers of Excellence, and high-impact AI applications. During his more than 15 years of experience in consulting and industry leadership, he has led AI and advanced analytics transformations from strategy through execution, delivering production-scale solutions and multimillion-dollar profit improvements across industries. He works with organizations to build the technical foundations, operating models, and capabilities required to embed AI into core business processes, accelerate value creation, and create sustainable competitive advantage.
Before joining BCG X in 2021, Benjamin was Vice President of Advanced Profit Management and AI at Sixt SE, where he led advanced analytics and AI initiatives across revenue management, fleet and capacity optimization, and customer-facing digital products. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Roland Berger, advising clients across Europe and the Middle East.
