Brian O’Malley is the leader for the Operational Risk, Collections, Financial Crimes, and Fraud topics for North America at Boston Consulting Group.  He advises banks and insurance companies on risk management, operations, and compliance, and has worked across a variety of risk topics including cyber, compliance, credit, enterprise risk management, and risk organization design.

Brian's recent client work includes a digital transformation of collections, financial crimes remediation, transformation of an operational risk organization, and developing a strategy for a provider of fraud tools. He is also in charge of BCG's global operational risk benchmarking.  Brian has led seminars on third-party risk for American Banker and on handling fraud and cyber risk for BITS.  He has published BCG Perspectives articles on operational risk, compliance, and cybersecurity.

Prior to joining BCG, Brian was a VP of Operational Risk and Compliance at Wells Fargo.
