Lior Vernia is the Financial Institutions practice lead for BCG Platinion in the Nordics. Platinion is an integrated unit of Boston Consulting Group that accelerates digital excellence to unlock potential, drive growth, and deliver purpose. Lior is also a member of BCG's global core cloud group. In his recent client work, he has helped several large EU banks develop an exhaustive cloud strategy and migration plan and supported the legacy modernization efforts of major Nordic banks (fee platform, wealth management platform, core banking system, etc.).

Lior joined BCG in 2018. He focuses on engagements that involve the cloud, enterprise architecture, IT modernization, and IT operating model. Having spent six years managing teams of software engineers in the Israeli Defense Forces and Red Hat, Lior brings hands-on technical expertise and deep knowledge of technology operating model best practices. In addition, he has over ten years of consulting experience at BCG, Bain & Company, and the Israeli Defense Forces.
