María Elena López is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care and People & Organization practices, as well as a member of BCG’s Health Care Scientist Network.
Since joining BCG in 2008, María has worked primarily in the health care industry, helping clients address their most critical challenges in business (strategy, sales and market access) and organization. She also has acquired extensive experience in the energy industry and has partnered with several companies over the course of her career, primarily in projects addressing organizational issues.
In 2012, Maria worked as an international change manager for Save the Children, one of BCG’s global social impact clients. She is also a contributor to BCG’s office in Madrid, leading the work associated with the Women’s Initiative at BCG.
Prior to joining BCG, Maria was also a teaching assistant at Heriot-Watt University, and she authored a number of scientific publications.
