Sofie Mogelvang Pelster is part of the leadership team for Boston Consulting Group's business in Central Europe (Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Switzerland). As head of human resources, she is responsible for the Business Services Team (BST) as well as for HR and office operations. Sofie is responsible for the development and delivery of all core HR services for the BST, for the development of the HR operations platform and structure—including the establishment of the Center of Expertise—and office operations.

In her previous role as consulting human resources director, she was responsible for the management and coordination of all HR processes, policies, and programs for the consultant cohorts excluding the partners in the German-Austrian system as well as for the development and implementation of the strategic HR agenda.

Before that, Sofie worked as a principal in the Munich office and was a member of the Consumer and Marketing & Sales practices. She has more than ten years of consulting experience, during which she supported large national and international companies in a wide variety of industries. Sofie started

her career at BCG in 1998. In addition to her native Danish, Sofie speaks English, German, French, Swedish, and Norwegian.
