Vladislav Boutenko is a core expert and part of the leadership teams of The Boston Consulting Group’s Public Sector, Digital, and People and Organization practices.
Vladislav has over 25 years of working experience in Europe (France, Germany), the US (Silicon Valley) and Russia. Since joining BCG in 1999, he has advised CEOs and governments on dozens of large-scale projects for public organizations and major Russian and global companies. Vladislav’s work in the public sector spans various topics from development of strategic programs with focus on long-term social and economic development to implementation of innovations and attraction of investors. In the corporate sector, he focuses on strategy development, creating and launching startups, technology transformation and digitization, developer team management and motivation, definition and implementation of innovation development programs, and intellectual property management.
Vladislav has significant experience in the hi-tech sector. Prior to joining the firm, while with GE Health Care he was responsible for implementing digital imaging solutions in visualization systems. Vladislav has written over 20 articles on optics, digital holograms, astrophysics, medical physics, business strategy, sociology, and intellectual property, and holds nine European and American patents on digital devices.
Vladislav Boutenko is the first Vice President and Chairman of the Board of the Education Chamber of the Russian Book Union. Over the past few years, he often spoke at the largest international business forums, such as the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) — which Vladislav has actually presented at since the day of its inception, — the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), the Open Innovations forum, etc.
