Phillip Benedetti leads Boston Consulting Group's Auckland office. Since joining the firm in 2011, he has worked across industries as a core member of BCG’s Corporate Finance & Strategy practice, helping support clients on their value-creation, growth, and innovation agendas. He is recognized as one of the firm’s global leaders in agile planning, and he has shared his expertise with clients in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.

Within Australia and New Zealand, Phillip has spent a majority of his time working in the financial institutions, insurance, and health care industries, helping clients answer highly ambiguous, high-risk/reward questions in a way that generates value for customers, shareholders, and the broader communities in which they operate. This includes as an executive (on secondment) at one of Australia’s largest banks.

Beyond casework, Phillip plays a leadership role in BCG’s diversity, equity and inclusion agenda as an ally, mentor, and advocate. When he was based in Melbourne, he held board positions in the not-for-profit and startup spaces.

Before joining BCG, Phillip worked as an innovation consultant at OI Pharma Partners and as a Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.
