Heitor Carrera leads Boston Consulting Group's Strategy, and Private Equity & Principal Investing practices in Brazil. He is also a core member of the BCG’s Industrial Goods practice.

Heitor joined the firm in 2004, and has been working in strategy consulting since 2000. Most of his work with clients has involved strategy development for a wide range of industries, including metals and mining, process industries, financial services, consumer goods, and private equity.

Heitor works closely with his clients and teams, fostering an environment of trust in which new ideas can be tested.

Prior to joining BCG, Heitor worked for four years in strategy consulting and for eight years as a system/financial analyst at a bank, a construction company, and an internet startup.
