Judith Wallenstein is the global head of Boston Consulting Group's CEO Advisory program, which supports leaders at pivotal inflection points such as succession processes, new appointments, and major transformations, through three core offerings: structured, one-on-one programs to help CEOs plan and lead a successful tenure; curated peer-learning communities that offer a cross-industry perspective; and applied research into what drives CEO success.

CEO Advisory reaches over 1,000 CEOs and board directors annually through individual programs and peer-learning communities. Judith herself has supported over 60 individual CEO advisory programs and 70+ community events, working with CEOs and supervisory board members to set up successful candidacies and tenures. She is also proficient in corporate governance issues and CEO-relevant trends, and has been a member of two corporate governance task forces within BCG.

Judith is one of BCG's core biopharma partners and has done extensive work in vaccines, oncology, and rare disease. Her functional focus is on clinical development, corporate strategy, and portfolio work (including carve-outs and divestitures, asset deals, and integrations).

Judith was a member of the BCG Corporate Finance & Strategy practice’s global leadership team for years and led the Social Impact practice in Europe from 2020 to 2022. She co-led BCG’s global Climate Moonshot and led the creation of BCG’s Climate & Sustainability Stewardship Programme with Cambridge University, the Columbia Climate School, and NTU in Singapore in 2021 and 2022.

In 2015, Judith was appointed a BCG Fellow and led research on the sharing economy and the future of work in collaboration with Harvard Business School's Future of Work project.

She has been with BCG’s Berlin and Munich offices for over 25 years, spending extended periods in Madrid, New York and Paris.
