Russell Kellner is the global leader for the Private Equity (PE) industry within Boston Consulting Group's Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice. He will focus on increasing BCG's share of portfolio work, improving go-to-market strategy and client coverage, and seamlessly bringing the best of BCG to its PE fund clients.
Russell joined the firm in 2014, bringing extensive knowledge and experience from working with clients in a variety of industries with a focus on private equity, financial services, retail, and consumer products.
In his nearly 16 years in consulting, he has worked on more than 200 due-diligence projects on prospective investments, as well as on multiple strategy and performance-improvement engagements for clients as varied as providers of financial-services technology, grocery chains, salt mines, and South African retailers. In addition, he served as relationship lead to a number of key private-equity clients.
Before BCG, Russell was a managing director with Alvarez & Marsal and a senior principal with Bain & Company.
