Tarandeep Singh is a core member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice at Boston Consulting Group. Currently, Taran is concentrating on engaging with leading technology companies across the Asia Pacific region on topics including growth strategy, new business build, customer success, pricing, and analytics. He also supports Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice clients with strategic, financial, and technology due diligences for their investments. His areas of focus are growth tech (startups), B2B SaaS, ecommerce, customer relationship management (CRM), data monetization, and the Cloud.

Taran brings expertise in running independent businesses, owning sales targets, bringing new product offerings to market, and leading large multi-disciplinary teams to his client engagements. He advises his clients on many aspects of ecommerce business build, business model transition to SaaS, digital transformation, B2B enterprises, and SME sales.

Taran joined BCG in January 2020. Prior to BCG, he was at Amazon Web Services, where he headed the software vendor business unit for AWS across Southeast Asia and India. He shifted to AWS from Amazon Retail, where he had been scaling customer acquisitions for Kindle eBooks through strategic partnerships. He also spent over three years at Apple in India, where he had several roles, including retail operations, ecommerce sales, and business development. Taran started his career at BCG, where he spent nine years in India and Australia, before deciding to enter the tech industry to earn hands-on experience as an operator.
