Vadim Gouterman is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Corporate Development; Principal Investors & Private Equity; and Technology, Media, & Telecommunications practices.

Since joining BCG in 2008, Vadim has worked with telecoms, media organizations, multiple system operators, and technology companies on a wide range of strategic and operational issues. He has acquired particularly deep experience in wireless and wireline networks, R&D, organization design, optimization of capital expenditures, vendor and buyer strategic due diligence, and pricing.

Vadim has helped numerous clients redesign their go-to-market approach, develop and implement innovation strategies, accelerate organic and M&A-driven growth, and improve operational performance. His project work has also covered governance, network strategy, and process optimization.

Prior to joining BCG, Vadim spent ten years working in the telecom equipment and semiconductor sectors, including helping to build two start-ups. He holds five US patents in the fields of semiconductors and automation.
