Dutch MacDonald is a leader in Boston Consulting Group’s digital products and services (DPS) team for BCG Platinion—a group of consultants, designers, engineers, and product managers who innovate at the intersection of information, technology, and human-centered design. He is the office lead for BCG’s Pittsburgh office.

Dutch joined BCG with the acquisition of digital design and innovation lab MAYA Design, where he served as CEO. Prior to joining MAYA, he practiced architecture for more than 17 years, and he brings an architectural, omni-channel approach to driving transformations.

Dutch is also the global lead for design, generating a unified design approach to drive CX/EX and end-to-end customer journeys across BCG worldwide. He has codified new offerings that bring a human-centered focus to accelerating digital transformation within organizations across industries including CPG, health care, financial, industrial goods, and manufacturing.
