Matthias Gehder is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care and Technology Advantage practices and an expert on digital health and technology.

In addition to the Berlin office of BCG, Matthias also worked in the Bogota, Colombia office for one year during his career.

Matthias’s clients include companies in pharma, medtech, public health, and payers. He supports public, large corporate, and mid-size health players globally as they define and implement their digital and IT strategy and operating model. In the past, this work has included developing and launching certified Software-as-a-Medical-Device (SaaMD) solutions, digital and analytics, IT operating model definition, and IT portfolio optimization. Matthias has co-authored a number of articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Matthias worked with several leading research organizations in Germany, Canada, and Peru.
