Mindy Hauptman joined Boston Consulting Group in November 2018. She is active in the Financial Institutions practice, concentrating on retail banking. She leads the FI practice’s work on US retail bank growth initiatives, and recently led a consumer research study focusing on "The State of Primacy" and relationship banking.

Mindy has a deep understanding of consumer banking products and distribution, as well as financial wellness and the fintech arena. Since joining BCG, she has focused on retail bank growth strategies incorporating multiple levers, including salesforce effectiveness, physical distribution networks, and product strategy. In recent client work, she developed a market growth strategy for a regional bank using targeted diagnostics and agile implementation of prioritized initiatives to unlock growth in a high-potential, but underperforming market; and helped a regional bank adopt a personalization strategy to drive customer engagement.

Before she came to BCG, Mindy ran the consulting practice at the Center for Financial Services Innovation, a not-for-profit that partners with financial institutions to promote consumer financial wellness. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at TD Bank, American Express, and National Analysts, a boutique market research firm.
