Jochen Weber has been with Boston Consulting Group since 2010. He is a core group member of the Energy practice and leader of the German retail energy topic team. As the operational lead for worldwide sales and service benchmarking, Jochen has been involved in benchmarking at various utilities in Europe and beyond. Jochen’s interest and expertise in big data and analytics has been valuable during his time at BCG.

Most of Jochen’s casework has been with utilities. For example, he led a churn management program within the sales unit of a major European utility that used big data to generate a churn prediction model and develop customer-specific anti-churn measures. Jochen has worked with many energy retail clients using big data for various aspects of process optimization, customer experience, and collection management.
