Pelayo Losada leads Boston Consulting Group’s Operations practice in Spain, Portugal, and South America, supporting clients from many sectors on procurement, operational transformation, supply chain, and manufacturing excellence.

He is also the global lead for Climate & Sustainability for BCG's aerospace and defense work, as well as actively involved in the Industrial Goods practice, with a focus on aerospace and defense, automotive, engineered products, and process industries. Within aerospace and defense, Pelayo has experience in climate technology, product development, program management, and service and digitization, among other topics.

Pelayo was part of the team to set up the World Economic Forum’s First Mover Coalition, bringing together leading companies (with a focus on aviation) to commit to the introduction of disruptive decarbonization technologies at scale. He also supported the setup of the Aviation Climate Taskforce, a cross-industry coalition focused on radical technology development to support the decarbonization of aviation, including airlines, aerospace, and oil and gas players. In this context, he works with many clients on unlocking climate and sustainability related competitive advantage.
