Alexander Baic manages Boston Consulting Group’s social impact activities in Germany and Austria. He joined BCG in 2008.

Alexander’s exclusive focus is on clients and initiatives in the areas of nonprofits, government, social entrepreneurs, and corporate social responsibility. He accumulated deep expertise in the area of social impact measurement. Alexander works extensively with international nongovernmental organizations and corporates to measure, manage, and increase social impact.

He led BCG’s collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages to develop an effective means of measuring the long-term financial impact on society and the nonfinancial impact on program participants and the community. Alexander has also worked on social impact measurement within private sector companies, including a major effort for a consumer goods company.

Alexander is also an expert in the area of refugee management and integration of refugees. His recent work included a report on the integration of refugees into the job market, strategy definition for a leading platform for higher education, and introduction of child friendly spaces in refugee accommodations.

In his client work he led further projects including corporate social strategy, fundraising, and organizational design.
