Ernesto Wandeler is a core member of the firms Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) practice and leads its Strategy practice in Switzerland.

Ernesto has extensive expertise in mobile and fixed telecommunication networks, spectrum auctions, 5G, and a broad range of strategy topics. He has worked with clients in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and the Middle East.

Prior to joining BCG, Ernesto worked as a research assistant at the Computer Engineering and Networks Laboratory of ETH Zurich. He also has extensive work experience as a software engineer in Beijing, Boston, and Switzerland and spent significant time as a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley, and at Imperial College London.
