Jean Clavel is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions and Technology Advantage practices.

Since joining BCG in 2010, Jean has worked extensively with leading financial institutions on a broad range of topics, including strategy, business development, large-scale transformation, postmerger integration, and operations. His client work covers business lines such as retail banking, consumer finance, corporate and investment banking, payments, and insurance.

In recent years, Jean has developed significant experience in data management and analytics for financial institutions. He has led several transformation programs including the design and implementation of relevant operational structures and the execution of data-quality and analytics use cases.

Prior to joining BCG, Jean was an M&A associate within Rothschild's financial institutions team in Paris, advising clients on buy-side, sell-side, and joint venture creation deals.
