Karan Mistry is a lead member of the Climate & Sustainability, Energy, and Public Sector practices at Boston Consulting Group. He supports clients from all major industries along the energy value chain, primarily through energy transition, including work in decarbonization, climate technology, energy infrastructure, and energy policy.

Karan’s clients include federal and state government entities, energy companies (utilities and OEMs), and companies in high-energy-consuming industries. He co-leads BCG’s partnership with Breakthrough Energy. His work has spanned the end-to-end decarbonization journey, starting with supporting development of net-zero strategies all the way through implementation of Scopes 1 to 3 reduction levers.

Karan has contributed to several BCG publications in the climate and sustainability space, including papers that have been used by both federal and state policy makers.
