John Dannberg is a core member of the Consumer and Marketing & Sales practices at Boston Consulting Group. He leads BCG’s Consumer practice in Helsinki. 

John works with clients on driving large-scale change programs, performance improvement (including organizational, commercial, and operational aspects), M&A, and strategic topics. Many of his projects have involved developing and deploying new digital and advanced analytics tools and ways of working to deliver better performance. 

John’s retail clients have included grocery, DIY and technical trade, general merchandise, department stores, discount, E-commerce, food service, and automotive players, as well as broad coverage of B2B distribution. In consumer goods, he has covered fast-moving consumer goods and durables. Recently, John has focused mostly on companies in the Nordics, but he has also worked with clients in the UK, Russia and Eastern Europe, and Australia.
