Patrick Roche is a member of Boston Consulting Group’s Center for Digital Government, as well as the Public Sector, Strategy, and Health Care practices. He leads the Public Sector practice in the UK, and is the global lead for transformation in the public sector. Patrick leads a number of BCG’s global health care accounts, and is an expert in large scale change. 

Patrick has extensive experience working in the public sector across departments and topics. His work has covered strategy, major ALB reform, setting up of new public bodies, operating model redesign, efficiency/effectiveness programs, and large-scale departmental/service transformation. Recent projects include work with HMT, Cabinet Office, Prime Minister's Office, BEIS, DEFRA, DfE, DCMS, DH, DWP, and MHCLG. 

Patrick has worked extensively in the biopharma and medtech sectors on topics such as corporate strategy, BU strategy, M&A, commercial excellence, operations, and R&D. He has led multiple brand and therapeutic area strategies, several brand-turnaround projects, and a number of multi-year corporate transformation programs. Prior to joining BCG, Patrick worked with Deloitte Consulting (formerly Andersen), in Corporate Finance & Strategy.
