Pratik Shah joined Boston Consulting Group in 2016. He is a member of the firm’s Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice and a leader in investment fund strategy and operations.

Pratik works with both private equity funds and principal investors (primarily sovereign wealth funds) from around the world on their most complex challenges in terms of investment strategy, value creation, and internal firm operations. He has significant experience in end-to-end fund build-outs, working directly with the C-suite to both design strategy and implement recommendations.

Pratik’s current priority is the end-to-end setup of government-sponsored development funds in the emerging markets, as well as working with leading private equity firms on specific growth, differentiation, and operating model topics. In addition, he has been working with clients globally on the repositioning of their fund strategy and operating models in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and helping them develop advanced data and analytics capabilities to drive competitive advantage throughout their value chains.

Pratik’s prior experience includes working for a $2 billion growth capital fund and as an investment banker at a US bulge-bracket firm.
