As a core member of the North American leadership teams for Boston Consulting Group's Public Sector and Social Impact practices, Qahir Dhanani leads BCG’s engagements with multilateral and international financial institutions, as well as with key donor and philanthropic agencies.

Qahir’s work focuses on improving people's quality of life. He advises senior leaders in the public, private, and social sectors on policy and programmatic issues aimed at expanding finance for climate and development, accelerating the elimination of poverty, advancing action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and enhancing institutional efficiency, effectiveness, and agility.

Prior to joining BCG, Qahir held various positions at the World Bank, including serving as an Advisor to the CEO and leading operations as a young professional. He began his career focused on programmatic activities and microfinance with the Aga Khan Development Network.
